Sandwich panels
The sandwich panels are made from non-toxic polyester reinforced with fiberglass and high-capacity polyurethane or polystyrene foam for insulation.
Featuring an internal insulating layer of extruded polystyrene (XPS) or expanded polyurethane (PUR), the sandwich panels provide SCATTOCOLD with lightness, thermal insulation, and exceptional durability.

FLOOR
The SCATTOCOLD floor is made from sandwich panels with various types of anti-slip finishes and internal reinforcements. The entire floor surface is coated with highly waterproof polyester fiber, featuring front siphon drains.
Standard bumper profile in anodized aluminum, 250 mm high, on all walls.
Rear Door
SCATTOCOLD features a standard rear frame made of polished stainless steel, with two rear doors constructed from 80 mm thick sandwich panels. These doors are equipped with high-quality stainless steel external locks and magnetic catches to ensure they remain securely open.
A retractable ladder and a rear entry handle facilitate easy access into the box.
two rear rubber bumpers mounted on the rear crossbeam provide further protection to the structure while operating.
The upper crossbeam of the structure is fitted with two red LED position lights and a third LED stop light with an integrated rearview camera.
Subframe structure
The subframe is made of aluminum for vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
The steel version is available for vehicles with a higher maximum authorized mass.
Its assembly using bolts provides greater flexibility, lightness, and strength to the entire structure.

Combi-rail load-securing profile (not recessed) made of steel, mounted internally on front and side panels for secure cargo transport.
SCATTOCOLD offers an additional option of a hinged side door equipped with a high-quality recessed stainless-steel lock, standard opening from 900 to 1,250 mm, with a magnetic door catch and a side step for easy access.
In addition to the two rear doors, the tail lift with foot controls and load stops can be added upon request.
