History

Scattolini is founded in 1939 by Antonio Danilo Scattolini as a producer of wood manufactures.

In 1950, it begins to produce beds for the light 3 wheel vans and light vans in wood and metal. The main customers were PIAGGIO, INNOCENTI/LAMBRETTA, MOTO GUZZI.

In 1960 Scattolini becomes the OEM supplier of MOTO GUZZI. The following year it begins its collaboration with INNOCENTI as a serial supplier of the 3 wheel van Lambro.

Starting 1990 Scattolini begins to update its plant and machinery, starting this way the direct collaboration with FORD WERKE and NISSAN MOTOR IBERICA.

In 1995 Scattolini becomes the official partner of :
- MERCEDES-UNIMOG
- RENAULT AUTOMOBILE
- RENAULT VEICOLI INDUSTRIALI

In 1997 Scattolini becomes the official partner of NISSAN.

In 2003 Scattolini S.p.A. has been purchased by the Faist Group. Thanks to the Group investments and its continuous research and development, an exponential growth of its industrial manufacturing begins.

At the end of 2004 new products as the Bison, Kangaroo and Beluga were launched.

In 2005 the showroom and a Training Center were inaugurated, and in collaboration with the automotive companies, for our Italian and European vendors and dealers, regular techno commercial updating courses are being held.

In 2005 Scattolini FBT a Ludwigsfelde (De) is being founded.

Scattolini Iberica ad Avila (Sp) is being founded.

Scattolini acquires VFS in Southamptons (Uk).

Scattolini France in Batilly (Fr) is being founded as a Renault conversion center.

Scattolini acquires Cabreta in Rennes (Fr), the French Brittany’s historical company who manufactures tippers for the French Free Market.

In 2012 Scattolini Otomotiv in Kartepe (Tr) is being founded.

Scattolini becomes IVECO and FIAT official partner.

Scattolini Portugal in Tramagal (P) is founded.

Scattolini becomes MAN official partner.

Scattolini acquires Sanmarco in Atessa (It), the historical company of Val di Sangro.

VFS North in South Kirkby (Uk) is being founded.
